I'm pretty sure most of us remember the AIDS workshop that was held in our school some time ago. Apparently our school had such great response that they decided to train volunteers to facilitate other workshops. That training session was held this weekend at the HELP college university, and about 12 of us went for it. Most of the 30+ people there consisted of HELP students, and the KDU students were myself, Jonathan, Pui Yi, Genna, Wan Ru, Lyn Li, Wan Shin, Hui Xian, Shue Ker, Huia Lee, Jan Nin and Li-Tjen.
The whole thing was okay overall, maybe a bit fun, but as this was the first workshop for the HELP people, we went through roughly the same AIDS awareness thing as the one in school, except that this time we were taught how to be facilitators. We got this really thick manual that contained all the info needed to teach others stuff about AIDS, besides being taught how to handle classroom situations and things like that. Oh, and this is the only workshop i've been to that serves decent food! xDDDDD
On Sunday after the whole thing was over i went to check out Pavillion with my cousins and aunties. We used my aunty's Toyota Camry, the latest one, and that car is really big and comfy with fantastic Japanese built quality, bigger and better than the previous generation one, so no surprise there as to why it's the best selling car in the States. I don't see the point of buying a C-Class when you can get something as good as this for half the price...xD
As for Pavillion itself, the layout is pretty similar to KLCC, and for now there are so few food stores open so that on that night all the restaurants were filled to the max and we had to go eat somewhere else. Didn't really have much time to look around but i know that the new Parkson is huge! Most of the shops here are selling clothes, and there are a few new electronic and hardware stores which i'm gonna check out soon.
Btw, some asshole who couldn't keep his hands to himself just had to scratch the side of the Honda City when it was parked in Megamall. I swear this car is jinxed coz it's had so many minor accidents, starting at the waiting area when some lil kid in a Lexus opened the rear door and smashed the City's left mirror barely three months after the car was bought, and the accidents just escalated after that, but of course the damage was repaired each time. I thought Japanese cars were supposed to be relatively tough, but unfortunately this one isnt as proven when the roof got dented by a falling mango!!!! Shoulda picked the Vios.
